Restarting your business after the lockdown ends: Assistance from Securo

Like you, we too are trying to keep abreast of the government’s position on which businesses can operate and those still restricted.

When your business can operate under the new guidelines, one key element we suggest will be the management of the COVID-19 hazards when considering your on-site visitors and your own workers. For example:

  • How will you record and trace movements of your workers and on-site visitors?
  • How will you maintain a level of social distancing?
  • How will you change the way you screen for illness to ensure unwell members of your workforce and change your sickness policy or it's enforcement if your workers feel unwell?
  • How will you improve hygiene levels?

Securo has been working on a COVID-19 Health & Safety Checklist template that you can use when you start to move your team back to your premises.

All businesses and industries are different, so we are working on a way to tailor this checklist to your industry, and your business.

We plan to provide this to you shortly from your Securo Health and Safety Consultant, and will be augmented with full support.

We are conscious that this resource needs to be able to reflect the government’s changing requirements, especially through the coming weeks.
