Health and Safety Audit Services
Securo provides 2 types of audit:
- Site Audit (Physical audit of your facilities)
- Documentation Audit (audit of your H&S documentation)
1. Site Audit $750+gst
Wondering if your organisation complies with the current Health & Safety legislation?
Then a Securo Site Audit is right for you.
This is a physical audit of your facilities and will commence in the car park and move through all working departments, including administration and even your kitchen / lunchroom.
We perform about 50 site audits every year for clients, and we’d love to help you with yours.
We serve 12 New Zealand regions so one of our consultants is nearby.
Q: “What’s involved?”
- One of our Safety Consultant’s will complete a physical Site Audit to give you an indication of how your site and business complies with the current Health and Safety legislation
- We will provide a written report (a hard copy and a digital copy) on our findings and recommendations (usually within 7 days)
The objective is to look at aspects of physical safety measures such as:
- Signage
- Fire safety
- Hazardous substances storage
- Any height issues
- Racking, fork hoists etc
- We will also be looking at some aspects of safety documentation
We will require a staff member to accompany our consultant while the audit is underway, preferably someone who knows the site well and will be able to answer some general questions.
Q: “How much does a Site Audit cost?”
- $750.00+gst
- + reimbursement of travel costs at a reasonable rate (if your location is more than 20km’s from the consultants base)
Q: “What’s included?”
- 4 hours onsite (we’ve found this to be sufficient in the vast majority of cases)
- Additional onsite time will be invoiced at $125 per hour if required
- Your written report & recommendations

2. Documentation Audit from $1500+gst
Wondering if your organisation’s documentation complies with the current requirements?
Then a Securo Documentation Audit is right for you. Just call Securo on 0800 55 33 44 to arrange for a member of the Securo Audit Team to perform the Audit on your behalf. This is a good option if you or your team are short on time and would prefer an independent, professional Health & Safety consultant to handle this for you.
Q: “How much does a Securo Audit cost?”
- Approximately $1200 - $2000+gst (depending on the size/complexity of your organisation)
- + reimbursement of travel costs at a reasonable rate (if your location is more than 20km’s from our consultant’s base)
- The fee includes our time on site and working through the Securo Audit criteria.
- For most of our clients, the above audits may be included in our service.
